Dr. Jessica DeBrun, OTD OTR/L
Dr. De Brun completed her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Master’s degree in occupational therapy and her post-professional doctor of occupational therapy degree from Loma Linda University. Her doctoral research focused on early childhood trauma and the maternal-child co-occupational experience while residing in a domestic violence shelter. She has developed and implemented programs for mothers residing in domestic violence shelters with emphasis on enriching co-occupational experiences. She has presented her research and program development at the county, state and national levels. Dr. De Brun currently teaches in the department of occupational therapy at Loma Linda University as an assistant clinical professor. She has a wide variety of experience as a practitioner in early intervention and pediatrics from working in local school districts, autism programs, local regional centers and a child trauma intervention centers.
